About Me
I started on my path to social work in 2011 when I worked for a camp in my hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan, while on summer break from college. The camp focused on providing positive programming to children who were in a transitional housing program, when I asked the full time employees what they got their degree in, they responded with social work and I was sold.
When I returned to school I set my course on social work and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from St. Olaf College in 2014 and a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSW equivalent) from Case Western Reserve in 2015.
In 2017 I started a program at the University of Minnesota to expand my knowledge and become competent in permanency and adoption care. I completed the Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate 2018 and became a Permanency and Adoption Compentent Provider.

I am currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota. I have previously been licensed in Ohio (Social Work Trainee 2014-2015) Minnesota (Licensed Graduate Social Worker 2015-2018; LICSW 2018-2020) and Pennsylvania (Licensed Clinical Social Worker 2019-2023). In 2023 I became certified as a Clinical Social Work Supervisor and started Spreag to provide clinical supervision for social workers, especially those interested in family therapy, child welfare, and mental health issues in the context of larger systems, including Child Protection and the Juvenile Justice System.
Outside of Work
Work Experience
I have spent my professional life working in the child welfare systems in a variety of different roles. While getting my bachelor’s I worked with Rice County Social Services as a Children’s Mental Health Case Management Intern. While in Graduate School, I provided in-home family therapy through a program called PACT (Parents and Children Together) at Bellefaire JCB in Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to Minneapolis I spent 4 years as the Emergency Shelter Therapist at St. Joseph’s Home for Children through Catholic Charities. I then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I again provided in-home family therapy as a Homebuilders Therapist at Pressley Ridge. I currently work as an Multi-Systemic Therapist at the Family Partnership, providing in home and virtual family therapy.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my overly spoiled dog, Katherine. I love going to concerts, comedians, plays, and musicals whenever possible. I also attend professional soccer games including Minnesota United games and I am a community owner of Minnesota Aurora. I love to spend time with friends and family, including traveling to visit loved ones who don’t live in the area.
